      Research interests

My research interests include systems of subspaces of Hilbert spaces and, more generally, the theory of *-algebras and their representations by bounded operators on a Hilbert space. My current research is focused on studying classification problems (up to unitary equivalence) of irreducible systems of subspaces that fulfill specified conditions, which vary across the considered cases. An abstract Gram operator is a useful tool for constructing such systems of subspaces and investigating their properties. Moreover, any system of subspaces whose sum is dense in the whole space is unitarily equivalent to the system built using the Gram operator of the original system. Therefore, the abstract Gram operator has become an object of interest in my recent papers.
