Recent applications of the theory of Lie systems in Ermakov systems

Abstract:
In this talk we explain some recent developments in the theory of Lie systems. Also, we show that Ermakov systems can be studied as a certain kind of Lie system. Then, as an application of these new insights we use that Ermakov systems can be studied as a Lie system to study them and demonstrate many of their properties.
