Extra dimensions and Kaluza-Klein gravitons
Abstract:
The large number of developments in string theories motivated the models with additional dimensions. The aim of
the new models with extra dimensions is to solve the hierarchy problem. The Randall-Sundrum model is a model of Einstein
gravity in a five-dimensional space-time with the extra dimension being compactified to the orbifold S1/Z2 . This model
predicts masses of Kaluza-Klein gravitons to be equal M=kb (b are zeros of Bessel function). Our goal is to compare these
predictions with results of computer simulations obtained by collaboration CMS at Large Hadron Collider (CERN).
