Sharkovsky.<br>The list of all participants is provided here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ecit2024.isel.pt\/?page_id=132\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Program<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ecit2024.isel.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_0964-1536x1152.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>(photo taken from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ecit2024.isel.pt\/?page_id=331\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ECIT 2024<\/a>)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Talks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Francisco Balibrea<\/strong>\u00a0(Universidad de Murcia, Spain) wrote the incredible introduction on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ecit2024.isel.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ECIT&#8217;s home page<\/a>.<br><strong>Francisco Balibrea<\/strong>\u00a0also prepared a presentation\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imath.kiev.ua\/~asharkov\/talks\/Francisco-Balibrea_O.M.Sharkovsky-friend-and-master.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;O.M.Sharkovsky, friend and master.&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0which highlighted a key area of his research and explored its significant impact on the theory and development of Topological Dynamical Systems.<br>One important consequence of his work was the emergence of Combinatorial Dynamics and the advancement of one-dimensional real dynamical systems.<br>Additionally, the presentation featured a selection of photographs to complement the discussion.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The video presentation\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/l9mZtZFL2-g?si=vmukWg7qMlhg693R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;The last 5 years of O.M. Sharkovsky\u2019s fruitful work&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0was presented by\u00a0<strong>Olena Sharkovska<\/strong>.<br>The idea was to show to the conference participants the last 5 years of the fruitful work of O. M. Sharkovsky.<br>His public appearances, trips, lectures, completed works and publications were told on video presentation and additionally, as well his articles and book that he was planning to publish on an important area of research \u201dDescriptive Theory of Deterministic Chaos\u201d.
