Bogoyavlenskij symmetries of isotropic and anisotropic MHD equilibria as Lie point transformations
Abstract:
In this talk we present the generalization of infinite-dimensional
Bogoyavlenskij symmetries of the Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Equilibrium
Equations on the anisotropic (CGL) plasma equilibria. It is also found
that Bogoyavlenskij symmetries correspond to certain Lie point transformations
of the equations under consideration. We show that certain non-trivial
Lie point transformations (that are obtained by direct application of Lie
method) contain the essential structure of Bogoyavlenskij symmetries.
