Quantum groups and Cabibbo mixing
Abstract:
Treating the issue of hadron masses on the base of quantum groups Uq(un)
used for the role of flavor symmetries of hadrons suggests, at least in
the case of baryons, a direct connection of deformation parameter q
with the Cabibbo angle. We discuss a number of different manifestations
of the Cabibbo mixing (including possible novel ones) implied by such connection.
