Symmetry methods applied to the mathematical model of a tumor of the brain
Abstract:
We use symmetry methods to study the model of growth of a tumor proposed
by L. Wein and D. Koplow. The aim is to show that generalisations
of the assumption of uniformity in the model may be made without unnecessary
intial assumptions. This shows the use of symmetries to obtain more complex
and reliable models. We translate some of the properties into properties
of the tumor of the brain.
