Special Issue on Analytical Mechanics and Differential Geometry in honour of Sergio Benenti
The Guest Editors for this special issue are
Franco Cardin (Universitá degli Studi di Padova, Italy)
Claudia Chanu (Universitá degli Studi di Torino, Italy)
Ray McLenaghan (University of Waterloo, Canada)
Willard Miller Jr (University of Minnesota, USA)
Giovanni Rastelli (Universitá degli Studi di Torino, Italy)
Andrej Tsiganov (Saint Petersburg State University, Russia)
The aim of this special issue is to display the state of development of the research in several fields where Sergio Benenti gave important,
sometimes seminal, contributions in the last decades. The spectrum of the topics covered by the articles collected here is therefore quite wide, ranging from separation of variables for Hamilton–Jacobi and Schrödinger equations to symplectic geometry, differential geometry, nonholonomic dynamics and more.
We are grateful to all the authors and referees who contributed to this project with their work.
