Studies: 1951 graduated from high school with Gold Medal honours; 1951-56 Kiev polytechnical institute, graduated with honours in 1956; 1958-61 graduate studies in mathematics under supervision of Professor V. A. Zmorovich.
Degrees: 1956 engineer (Soviet equivalent of Master degree);
1963 Kandidat of Sciences (Soviet equivalent of Philosophy Doctor degree) in mathematics (Institute of Mathematics of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Kiev);
1966 Doktor of Sciences in mathematics (Institute of Mathematics of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences).
Positions: 1956-58, 1961-63 engineer in Institutes of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and lecturer in Kiev Polytechnical Institute; since 1963 research fellow, head of laboratory and from 1989 head of Department of Complex Analysis and Potential Theory of Institute of Mathematics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (current position).
