Proceedings of the International Workshop “Recent Advances in Quantum Integrable Systems” (June 15–18, 2010, LAPTH, Annecy-le-Vieux, France)

This special issue includes papers by participants of the workshop Recent Advances in Quantum Integrable Systems 2010 (RAQIS'10), held at Laboratoire d'Annecy-le-vieux de Physique Theorique (LAPTh), Annecy-le-vieux (France), in June 2010. The meeting aimed at bringing in contact people working on various aspects of the Theory of Quantum Integrable Systems and their applications, such as string theory and condensed matter. A detailed program can be found on the conference webpage. The workshop was part of the RAQIS' series, held at LAPTh roughly every two years, see the webpage.

The conference gathered 64 participants from 17 countries. There were 32 lectures and 9 poster presentations. We would like to thank LAPTh for hospitality, CNRS, Universite de Savoie, LAPTH, and Ministere des Affaires Etrangeres (French Foreign Office) for their financial support. We wish to thank also all the conference participants, all the authors who have published papers in the issue, and to give our special thanks to all the referees for providing constructive reports.
