UPD 2023: Missile attack: institute destruction

UPD: Dear colleagues! The status of fundraising for the repair of windows and frames is outlined in the institute's charitable assistance report. Briefly, at the moment, the glass in the windows has been replaced, but in the spring 2023, the institute has make replacement of the damaged windows frames. This is a very expensive operation. Therefore, we continue calling for donations, first of all, business and foreign donors! Because it is relatively big money for Ukraine. We are talking about more than UAH 1 000 000. (€25 000) to replace critically damaged frames.

As a result of a missile attack by Russian terrorists on Monday, October 10, 2022, institute building's windows were significantly damaged. 41 windows glasses have been broken. Several window frames are deformed (not subject to repair). 

The institute of Mathematics is located in a historical building (since 1848) equipped with large and unusual windows. Replacing the windows glasses & repairing the windows frames are very expensive operations. The institute budget does not allow for that. There is not enough money even to pay the researchers' salaries in full... In view of the upcoming winter season, the administration and research staff will be greatly appreciate for charitable donation to pay the windows repair.
